Drip Series

The 0H10M1ke Dr1p Series of contemporary art paintings draws influence from 80's graffiti in New York City. Known throughout the 5 boroughs, these fresh graffiti faces pop up in urban scenery to brighten your commute, mark the path to your destination and give strangers a smile. Inspired by Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, contemporary NY graffiti writers and iconic worldwide street artists, 0H10M1ke's studio practice uses his specialized homemade drip pens to tag the canvas, depicting faces as a point of processing for the thousands of people he sees everyday in the crowded streets of New York City and a representation of the range of emotions each of us cycles through over time. Created in his unmistakable, continuous-line style, this series brings the artist's playful visual vocabulary and vibrant colors off the streets and into the gallery, home, or workplace. Dr1p No. 5 was shown at Spectrum Art Fair during Art Basel and Art Expo New York 2021 with A&E Fine Art and is now available online through Gallery Ehren Art for the people of Germany.
